Tic Tac Dough was based on a U.S. format of the same name. It involved two contestants answering questions, in which correct answers placed a nought or a cross on a game board with nine categories, which were shuffled by a mechanical device after every turn. The outside boxes were worth £200 each, while the centre box was worth £300; and all money went into a pot, which was awarded to the winner of each match.

Merchandise[]

A Tic Tac Dough board game was released by Upson at the time. (NOTE: The box itself looks similar to that of the first and second editions from America by Transogram minus the apperance by its host/creator Jack Barry.)
