The Big 9 was a short-lived quiz show based on the controversial American format Twenty-One which led to the 1950s quiz show scandals.

Premise[]

Two contestants in isolation booths try to answer true-or-false questions correctly while reaching a score of 9 (unlike 21 in the U.S. version) before his or her opponent does, thereby winning $1,000 plus $100 for each point separating both players.
