Pooch Perfect was a short-lived, dog grooming reality competition series where Aussie dog lovers and fur-parents will go mutts over the epic transformations as professional dog stylists take their clippers to beloved pooches of every shape, size and breed.
Premise[]
The series features ten professional dog stylist competing in a series of themed challenges which sees the transformation of beloved pets, with a judging panel including international styling experts Amber Lewin & Colin Taylor determining the winner of $100,000 in prize money.
Trivia[]
The title is a "play-on-words" of the film Pitch Perfect as of which Wilson starred in.
The show was originally created in Britain, but was aired in Australia on Seven Network. A British version of the show, hosted by Sheridan Smith airs on BBC One Since 7 January 2021.
In 2021, an American version has been aired on ABC also hosted (and executive produced) by Rebel Wilson. Additionally Jorge Bendersky was also the judge for the American version as well.
